Polycom's New President and CEO Appointed to Board of Directors

LONDON/SLOUGH, UK - 17 Jun 2010 : Polycom, Inc. (Nasdaq: PLCM), the global leader in telepresence, video and voice communications solutions, announced today that its new President and CEO, Andrew Miller, has been appointed to serve on its Board of Directors, with a term as a director commencing immediately.

As previously announced on May 10, 2010, Mr. Miller was named president and chief executive officer. Prior to this, Mr. Miller served as Polycom's executive vice president of Global Field Operations.

Mr. Miller received his degree in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina. He is on the Board of Directors for BroadSoft (Nasdaq: BSFT), former chairperson for the YPO Stanford Executive Education Programme, and a former fellow at the Aspen Institute.
