Key Features
Polycom and BroadSoft deliver hosted unified communications (UC) that combine BroadWorks and the award-winning Polycom VVX 1500™ business media phones, Polycom SoundPoint® IP desktop phones, Polycom SoundStation® IP conference phones and KIRK DECT wireless solutions. This offering was recently expanded to include the Polycom HDX® personal and room telepresence solutions and Polycom RMX® 2000 and RMX® 4000 real-time media conferencing platforms.
Benefits
Service provider customers currently offering hosted voice services are seeing increasing demand for video communication delivered in a hosted model, which enables businesses to improve collaboration and communications without a large capital expenditure.
Using BroadWorks and its tight integration with video and voice endpoints from Polycom, service providers are able to offer "UC as a Service." UC as a Service reduces the complexity of configuring and rolling out service internally.
The newly expanded video solutions enable a number of applications, including:
- HD-unified communications across the organization
- Intercompany visual communication
- Dial-in "Meet Me" voice, video and unified conferencing services
